SUMMARY:Aircraft Wash - Work Bee
DESCRIPTION:Members (especially those currently enjoying the use of the club’s aircraft) are encouraged to come out to help wash the club’s aircraft.  The idea is to get this (once a year event) done before Wings and Wheels and Airshow.  10am – noon. \nIf there’s enough helpers\, we could also sweep out and tidy the hangars while the planes are  out. \nNOTE:  Simultaneously\, there will also be a member’s private event starting around the same time in the clubhouse and on the patio during our aircraft wash – work bee.  Those participating in the work bee should meet at the hangars and avoid going into the clubhouse during the private event.  Thank you.

SUMMARY:Wings and Wheels (Guests welcome)
DESCRIPTION:Bring your aircraft or classic car/motorbike and the family to the back lawn of the AFC for the day!  Starts around 11am. \nThe local Vintage Car club will be joining us with many cars.  There will be Valve Cover Car racing\, awards for the best car\, motorcycle\, airplane and Valve Cover Race Car.   The Mayor of Abbotsford is expected to be on hand to present the awards at approximately 2pm.  A Judo club demonstration is also planned. \nAFC members and volunteers are needed to help prep on Saturday morning 10am\, and again on Sunday morning starting at 9am.  Teardown and cleanup help is needed on Sunday starting at 4pm.
